Emily's Carnival Birthday

My little niece, Emily, just turned 5! I can't believe how fast time has gone and how big she has grown already. She never ceases to amaze me. My little munchkin had a carnival themed birthday party complete with big lollipops, a popcorn machine, a beading station, a face painting station, a moon bounce and more. My brother even became the party clown and created balloon animals! It was great fun!

Happy Birthday Big Girl! I love you tons and tons!

Erin and David- Engaged Part 2

I met up with Erin and David in the Forks today for a second session of engagement photos. Complete with balloons, lots of wind and some blue sky and sunshine, this photo session turned out great! Erin and David are fun, and easygoing and so great together! I can't wait for their July wedding!

Delsey- Portrait Session

Delsey agreed to be my model for one of my lighting photo shoots while I was taking a course through Prairieview School of Photography. Delsey was so awesome as a model! She was so easy to work with and was nothing but smiles throughout the whole photo shoot.

Sarah-Portrait Session

It all started in the warmth of the house and then we decided to brave the -30 temperatures for a little photo shoot in the countryside. Sarah grew up close to where I live now (just outside of Selkirk, MB) so I thought it would be fitting to capture her out in the countryside. Sarah made an awesome subject. She looked great and even let me drag her through boot high snowbanks in freezing cold temperatures all on a whim so we could photograph by "that pretty dilapilated barn". I love you Sarah!

Erin and David- Engaged!

Erin and David and I met up today for an engagement photo shoot in Kildonan Park. Despite the cool and cloudy weather, these two were warm and full of laughter. Erin and David are easy to photograph. Their wedding will be in July next year. I look forward to working with them again in the future!
